Little Zak’s is proud to support the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
The Humpty Dumpty Foundation is a children’s charity that, for more than 30 years, has been purchasing essential and often life-saving medical equipment for sick and injured children in Paediatric Wards, Neonatal Units, Maternity and Emergency Departments in hospitals across Australia.
Over 4,200 women give birth at Royal Hospital for Women (RHW) each year. It is a unique facility as the only women’s hospital in NSW and has the largest neonatal intensive care unit. RHW does not have a dedicated resuscitator within each birth unit, and the equipment currently in use is less mobile and has been put together as a workaround. The fully integrated Panda Warmer offers the latest technology to resuscitate, warm and safely care for babies. Oxygen levels are monitored via the integrated oximetry system and a heart rate can be obtained via a 3-lead ECG. The in-bed scale immediately provides an accurate weight, ensuring the right doses of medication are administered.
